IncSkill Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
This privacy policy and terms of service have been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their “Personally identifiable information” (PII) and uploaded content is being used, as well as to clarify our terms of service. PII, as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read this carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our systems, as well as the terms that you should abide by when using our systems.
If you do not agree with our privacy policy or terms of service, you may not use our systems.
When and how is information collected?
When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address or other details to help you with your experience. We collect this information when you register on our systems, and may use this information when you use certain other systems features to personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested. More specifically, we may use this information in the following ways. Note that this list is not exhaustive.
- Provide, operate, and maintain our systems and/or services
- Improve, personalize, and expand our systems/ervices
- Understand and analyze how you use our services
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website/portal, and for marketing and promotional purposes
- Send you emails
- Find and prevent fraud
Security of your personal information
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Moreover, we do not use cookies for tracking purposes, yet out of caution, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies.
Third party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. Also, we do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website or systems.
Third party tracking
We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. It's also important to note that we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.
Logging and Telemetry
IncSkill follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Children rights
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. IncSkill does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Collection and Consumption of Disability Information
With people with disabilities as our primary users, we may collect disability information from time to time (including documentation in some cases) to determine program/service eligibility, provide personalized support, recommend services and opportunities etc. Note that this information is not captured for basic services on our systems, and is only required when the program/service or a partner administering a program/service must require this information to operate it. In all such instances, these details are only accessible to select number of individuals who are required to keep this information strictly confidential and is securely stored on our servers. As a user, you have the right to ask us to update or delete this information. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us at contact@incskill.com, and we will comply within 30 days.
Partner Sharing
Many of our programs/services may involve collaboration with other partners, and may require us to share your data with these partners. In all such instances, these partners are required to uphold strong confidentiality guarantees similar to those defined in this document. Further, each partner will only receive your data on a need-to-know basis, and is required to use the data strictly for the purposes of the specific program/service. You will also be explicitly informed if specific data will be shared with a partner and how that data will be processed and used. Further, we may also be required to share data in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena, a law enforcement or government agency's request or similar request. Finally, we reserve the right to disclose and transfer the User Information and any uploaded content outside your country unless we have officially committed otherwise to you or your organization. We will comply with all relevant Data Protection legislation in relation to the period for which We retain any User Information.
External integration
Our Website may contain links to or integrations with other services such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media services and platforms whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult these other services' privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.
CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the US to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law's reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy. - Users have the option of not using our systems if they do not wish to provide sign-up details.
- The latest version of this privacy policy will always be available on our homepage.
- Our Privacy Policy link includes the word 'Privacy' and can be easily found on the page specified above.
- Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page
- Users are able to change their personal information by logging in to their account
GDPR Rights
We comply with GDPR, and we would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:
- Request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.
- Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
- Request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data, not sell the consumer's personal data.
In this respect, know that we will never sell your data to anyone, will delete your data when requested (see the GDPR provisions above), as well as not collect personal information about you without explicit input and consent from you. Fair Information Practices
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices, we will notify you via email within 7 business days should a data breach occur. We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
CAN SPAM Act
To be in accordance with CANSPAM we agree to the following:
- NOT use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
- Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
- Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
- Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
- Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails from us, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.
Terms of service
The IncSkill services are provided on a purely "as is" basis. IncSkill will not assume any responsibility for direct and/or indirect losses related to the use of any of our services including our community services. In particular, we strongly recommend members of the community to do their own research and/or due diligence when receiving any advice from our community. We further assume that users use the service in accordance with the terms set out here.
